Operation Christmas Child Appeal

28th November 2017

This winter, Lucion Services are supporting Samaritan’s Purse for their Operation Christmas Child appeal to provide underprivileged children from across the world with a gift on Christmas day.
In November we invited our Surveyors, Analysts, Administration Team and Directors to donate their time to support the shoebox appeal which will see the boxes shipped to underprivileged children across the world in time for Christmas.
Stacks of toys, toiletries and school supplies were prepared and filled into 50 boxes, all hand wrapped by our staff.
Lucion’s Chief Risk Officer, Ross Boulton commented “I am delighted with the efforts of our staff involved in the project. As part of our 2017/2018 Sustainability Improvement Plan, it is our aim to provide 1000 person hours towards community engagement projects and it’s fantastic we have the opportunity to contribute this support to areas outside of the UK.”
Since 1990, more than 146 million boys and girls in over 150 countries have experienced the power of a simple shoebox gift from Operation Christmas Child.
