Supply Chain and Subcontractor Evaluation

There are numerous national and international Health and Safety laws that companies are required to comply with in order to perform the responsibilities inherent in their jobs. Lucion Services provide expert Supply Chain Evaluation services.

To ensure compliance, clients must make certain that their Supply Chain has suitable management systems in place to know, abide by and monitor  compliance. Often a supply chain review is the answer.

The analysis includes a thorough review of the safety systems of subcontractors currently engaged by clients.  This not only ensures legal compliance but gives the opportunity to check the subcontractor meets expectations.

When companies employ a subcontractor to carry out work on their behalf at either premises or those of a customer, you have a duty under UK health and safety legislation to ensure they hold the relevant skills, knowledge, experience and training to perform the task they are being engaged to perform.

Additionally they need to demonstrate they are adequately resourced for the task you have employed them to do.

This evaluation follows the general guidance of accreditation bodies such as CHAS and includes the review of company policy documentation, training records, insurances and safety systems.
