Fire Risk Assessments

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 / Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 (enforce in 2006) places a legal requirement on all building owners and employers to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment on their premises. We work with our clients to produce a fire risk assessment taking into account their fire detection systems, emergency exits and routes (including evacuation plans), firefighting equipment and the availability of information and advice to the building’s occupants. Upon completion of the fire risk assessment, you will receive a comprehensive report outlining any findings and recommended steps to take in order to achieve full compliance.

To assist in achieving maximum efficiency and reduce costs we will also give you access to our online risk management system NexGen completely free of charge so you can access all your fire risk assessment data, certificates of compliance and management information instantly, anytime, anywhere.

NexGen is our ‘cloud based’ Risk Management Software that provides you with a transparent overview of your portfolio. We have created NexGen to assist you in managing your fire risks efficiently and cohesively.

Fire Safety Training

We understand that educating staff on the prevention of fire and emergency response is fundamental in any business small or large. Throughout the year we work with clients in undertaking fire safety training in a variety of workplace environments from healthcare through to construction, with the number one objective in preventing fire through the education of staff.

The Fire Safety Order requires that fire safety training and fire evacuation drill training should be provided to staff when they commence employment and that refresher training is provided on a regular basis. Working closely with our clients’ in-house H.R and Health and Safety teams we provide bespoke solutions tailored to the requirements of our clients’  growing workforce and expanding building assets.

Fire Marshall Training

Fire marshals (sometimes known as fire wardens) are civilians trained to assist in emergency fire evacuation procedures at businesses and other organisations. As an employer, it is your legal obligation that workplaces must have a sufficient number of fire marshals to deal with fire emergencies. We understand that assigning individuals to attend a fire marshall course can be time-consuming and takes your team off-site.
