Ensuring that best practice was followed in line with UK, European and international legislation during the removal of hazardous materials, which included work carried out by asbestos removal contractors, was of paramount importance in the work undertaken by Lucion.

Several challenges were faced on the contract, in particular daily liaison and management of the Spanish asbestos removal contractor. This involved close cooperation to ensure best practice techniques were fully observed in line with compliance requirements. The work was closely scrutinised by the customer’s senior management, who visited the project to check on progress.
